Ingredients:
- 2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
- 1-2 teaspoon TryBrewed coffee concentrate
- 1 sugar cube
- 2-3 dashes Angostura bitters
- Orange or lemon peel for garnish
- Ice
Instructions:
- Place the sugar cube in a glass.
- Add 2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters to the sugar cube.
- Muddle the sugar cube with the bitters until it's well dissolved.
- Add the coffee concentrate to the glass.
- Pour the bourbon or rye whiskey into the glass.
- Fill the glass with ice.
- Stir the mixture well to combine and chill the ingredients. Stirring helps to dissolve the sugar and mix the flavors.
- Express the citrus peel over the drink by holding it over the glass and giving it a twist. This releases the citrus oils.
- Optionally, drop the citrus peel into the glass or discard it after expressing the oils.
- Garnish with an additional coffee bean or twist of citrus peel if desired.
